We Love our Island!
The fire department covers the entire island before Christmas (a different neighborhood each night for a couple weeks) with a decorated fire truck complete with music! And they give the kids candy canes!
Merry Boating!
We got to have a fun night out with friends on the water. We had dinner and snacks while navigating around the Bremerton area by boat. There were about 20 boats all decorated and playing music for the crowds on shore.

The Harvest...

Part of the cultural experience of Christmas Tree Hunting was shooting guns! Each of us got a turn... the kids (all 4 of them) shot a .22 and I got a whirl at Chris' big gun!
The After Party...
After we all had our trees. We of course needed refreshments! Hot Cocoa and snacks with a great view!
Olympic National Forest Here We Come...
The forest may never be the same after our 4 trucks loads....
