On Our Way...

On our way to Great Wolf Lodge. We had to make a little detour. Seemed like a good place to waste an hour or so. It had been a long time since we'd been down. Was fun to see the market.

Seriously, this has to be the end...

Peyton's birthday just wouldn't stop this year. This is the end of it - I promise. She invited a couple of friends to the fair instead of having a party.
Seemed like a good idea....until the silly, crazy, 8 year old fun started...

They were actually very good. Thier mothers must have scared them before they dropped them off with me.

I really can't believe how big she's gotten. Such a beautiful girl.

We Have Neighborhood Kids

The girls are beyond excited to have some kids in the neighborhood finally. We were it until now. They're having a blast introducing the kids from CA how we do it around here.

Peyton got to take Julie for lunch, ear piercing and a new outfit.

Can We Catch It?

The girls have been told that there is a floppy eared bunny down the road from us living in the woods. Peyton has transferred Mommy's, "if you can catch it you can keep it" rule to the new bunny. We'll see if they can spot it first....Bella tried very hard - complete with binoculars!

I'm Up and it's My Birthday!

Our birthday donut breakfast went on steroids this year. Daddy was not suitably impressed with the bigfoot donut that is the size of Peyton's head. So, he added 8 bigfoot toes - and candles of course.

"Of course I'm going to eat it all...."

Well she almost did. She admitted defeat with 3 toes left and about 1/3 of the chocolate bar.

Blueberries

The girls and I went blueberry picking last week. We had 8 lbs in about 15 minutes. Was fun, I think we'll go again.
