Bella's Art

Bella requested somewhere to put all her art projects from school. So, Chris took her shopping and they came home with some great modular cork tiles that we put up on her wall. It took her all of about 30 minutes to have it full! She'd really like some more!

A Quick 18...

Put-Put golf that's glow in the dark! Peyton had been wanting to do this for a while. So, when we had the non-snow snow day we had to check it out. It was fun - the girls thought it was fantastic and did pretty well.

Winter Wonderland...

We had about 3" of snow on Sunday - it's still here... Peyton, of course, was thrilled and called it her, "Winter Wonderland"
It really is beautiful!

This is the new game! The girls stand underneath a branch and Chris shakes the branch so the snow falls on them...

They love it!

Dog Sitting...

We had serious Dog Sitting responsibilities New Year Weekend! The girls were put in charge of their best friend Devo for the weekend. Peyton was thrilled - Bella tolerated!
We hiked down to the waterfall at the end of the lake - we had to wear out the dog and the kids.

Even Harley decided that the sun was more important than the dog! They coexisted quite nicely! We will not be getting a dog anytime soon though......

Snow Time...

Bella and I have been on an outdoor kick lately.
Today we went to the park and tracked dog prints in the snow. It was fun!

Beaver Tracking...

After all the Christmas eating we had to get out and get moving. So we headed to a little lake that has some resident Beavers to see if we could spot any. This was quite a hike for the girls. Our elevation gain from the car to the top was about 600 feet and we did a 2 mile loop.


This was our first proof that there were indeed Beavers - the girls got very excited!

There were also some really cool old growth stumps...

This was supposedly close to where the Beaver has it's den, but unfortunately we never spoted the Beaver!

Christmas Day

I know I'm a little behind getting these up.... But this now will conclude the Holidays!

Christmas dinner at our house. I made a Beef Wellington this year - it was delish!!!

And then I made everyone wear crowns! We had a good time opening our Poppers and being silly - the girls even had a good time despite the lack of cousins to sympathize with them over the silliness of their parents!
