Puddle Hopscotch...

We went to Birch Bay this morning and met Sophie, Ceci & Tracy. The beach was great - the girls had a great time. Peyton and Soph called the puddle jumping "Puddle Hopscotch". It was cute, but very messy. This ain't no Hawaii sand!

Indian Summer

Fall has definately been in the air lately. I think our days of sunshine and warm weather are numbered. We enjoyed some beach time for Daddy Bob's birthday. All the boys went for a ski. Bob first, Steve second and then Chris are the last two.

Let's buy a farm...

Peyton says, "Mamma, wouldn't it be fun to live on a farm? Let's buy one!" My superior negotiation skills came into play and we went to visit instead! Hovander farm has a lot to offer. The playground isn't quite like I remember.... but the girls still had a great time.

We climbed to the top of the tower - yes, it's still there - and I had to take a picture to prove we did it! That's a long haul with two kids - carrying one of them.

The flowers were gorgeous!

Fair

We went to the fair last night! It just doesn't get any closer to our own childhood than eating fair food (too much), looking at alllllll the animals, and going on a enough rides to make our stomachs upset (but not so upset that we'll pass up ice cream)! The girls both had a great time. Bella actually hugged a goat! Peyton's favorite ride was the dragon coaster!

Peyton's 4th Birthday

I don't think you could find a group of sweeter, more loving girls - not to mention cute! All six of them are so fantastic!

What a great party! Peyton had the time of her life! She so enjoys her cousins and it was double exciting having all 4 cousins to play with her. Thank you everyone for all your wonderful, thoughtful gifts and for joining us on a not so hot August day to celebrate.
