Doesn't take much to entertain! Not sure what the whole "laying in the driveway" thing was about. Bella started it then Peyton had to join in! Bella used the moving boxes just like stairs this morning - as you can see she was quite pleased with herself!
There are 2 "Pirate" Ships in the harbor for a few days. Open for viewing. The girls and I went down this afternoon. I think they actually enjoyed it - something different and it was such a beautiful day!
Pretty quite weekend. The girls still aren't feeling 100% after our trip, but we still got out and rode bikes in the rain.
We're back from Whistler - phew! It was one parenting disaster after another - but somehow we still had fun! This is the "Jumping Bean" as Peyton calls it She had such a great time!
It's back! We put the slip n slide up this last week during the heat wave. I got some good pictures of Chris and the girls tonight after dinner! I couldn't resist picture #2. Chris is such a good sport - you'll notice I was smart enough to maintain control of the camera!
Chris and Peyton have a special beach that they go to - just the two of them. They have such a great time. Peyton stood in the seaweed this time, dug for clams and chased the geese! We are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful area!
Peyton asked to take her bike on our walk today. We were a little unsure at first I had visions of carrying her and the bike back. But she did great! She rode it the entire way - about 2 miles! We are very proud of her!!!
Peyton has had swimming lessons - this is week 2. We've had such fantastic weather for it! This is the first time that Bella had a good time in the little pool with Peyton and then while Peyton was in the big pool for lessons. Bella was quite happy to "run" back and forth at the shallow end.
Peyton had to have this pallet moved over to the side of the chips area for her fishing. She has a stick that Chris tied a string onto with a piece of bark tied on the end as a fish. She has quite the imagination!
